Hello,
I’m Jenna Jedry — a senior Marketing major with an emphasis in Digital Marketing and a minor in Professional Sales at West Virginia University. I’m passionate about pursuing a career in sales and have honed my skills through academic excellence, involvement in AMA and the Sales Club, and hands-on sales experience with ADP. I’m committed, coachable, and driven to grow personally and professionally.
My Story
Growing Up in Pittsburgh
I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, where I spent most of my childhood and teenage years playing competitive and high school soccer. Competing at a high level taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the ability to stay composed under pressure — skills that continue to shape how I approach school, work, and professional growth today. In high school, I was also involved in AFS Club, Class Council, and the German National Honor Society, all of which helped me develop leadership, communication, and a strong sense of community.
Starting My Journey at Slippery Rock University
I began my college experience at Slippery Rock University, where I was part of the Honors College and maintained a 4.0 GPA as a freshman. During my time there, I grew both personally and academically, strengthened my leadership skills, and participated in community service initiatives that supported the university and the surrounding community. These experiences helped me build confidence, independence, and a strong commitment to academic excellence.
Transferring to West Virginia University
For my sophomore year, I transferred to West Virginia University to further pursue my education in Marketing and Professional Sales. At WVU, I became a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, where I serve on the Academic Excellence Committee, mentoring sisters on academic probation and supporting their academic progress through weekly check-ins. I have also contributed to the Public Relations Committee by managing social media content and assisting the T-shirt Committee with the design and planning of sorority merchandise. These roles have helped me strengthen my leadership, teamwork, communication, and creative strategy skills.
Growing as a Marketing & Sales Professional
Outside of Greek life, I am involved in the American Marketing Association and the Sales Club at WVU, where I continue to develop my marketing knowledge, gain hands-on sales experience, and expand my professional network. Each step of my journey — from competitive soccer to leadership roles and academic achievement — has shaped the driven, relationship-oriented individual I am today.
